Elad Lassry at the White Cube

Shown at the White Cube's Hoxton Square branch, initial perception conjured the "Pop-Art consumerism" vibe. Ironically, this was also being shown as the White Cube opened its third and largest London gallery space.

However, after further reading into Lassry's work, you soon clock it holds deeper conceptual meaning. He explores the realm of how we view when presented with a subject. He toys with themes on object-hood alongside the interaction of representation. This being Lassry's first solo show in London I highly doubt it will be his last. Highly championed, the young artist is at the start of an exciting journey.
